Artsy Atlanta Pics by Nadeen White

One of the many new things I have enjoyed since moving to this amazing city is bike riding. Monday was a GORGEOUS day which has been the norm since I moved here. Sunny, blue skies and 75 degrees with not an ounce of humidity in the air (greatly appreciated coming from South Florida). I usually stick to Piedmont Park, which is itself beautiful and reminds me of Central Park in NYC, but Monday I ventured on to the road and happened upon a trail which led to another trail and another. It was pure delight! I discovered areas I had not been to filled with art and murals and even met one of the artists! The areas included the Atlanta Beltline and Inman Park. The following pics were taken with my camera phone-my Iphone 4-how I wished I had my ordered Iphone 5 with panoramic potential or one of those “sophisticated” high tech cameras used by photographers. I have always had an interest in photography and this city may just inspire me to add that to my list of new hobbies! But enough chatter. I will let the pics speak for themselves. Hover over the pics  for captions and feel free to share yours!

  • Nice pics. You are out working hard. I’ve been meaning to get out to capture some of the warehouse graffiti art on the warehouses in Miami. Keep up the good work.

  • I love little characteristics of towns like this… I find myself grabbing these kind of photos when I’m out exploring… these things really catch your eye.
