Although I had complimentary attendance to The Whitley Spa event, all opinions expressed in this post are my own.
As many of you know, a few months ago I attended the grand opening of Trade Root restaurant at The Whitley Hotel. The Whitley is a luxury property located in the Buckhead area of Atlanta. I had a wonderful (and delicious) time at the Trade Root grand opening so I was excited to be invited back for their luxury spa event. I brought along a friend in town from Thailand and we had a wonderful time.

All Day Luxury
On arrival to The Whitley Spa, we were greeted with champagne and one of their signature cocktails-The Whitley Cup. We stopped in the relaxation area before starting our tour of The Whitley Spa. There are individual spa rooms with private bathrooms. There are also suites set aside for couples. The décor and atmosphere of the spa was sophisticated, serene and romantic. In the manicure room the staff introduced us to their seasonal items and services. I loved the themes like the “Vacay in St.Tropez” inspired products and treatments. We enjoyed the watermelon basil “vodkatini” hand scrub as well as the sweat tea hand scrub. The Whitley Spa offers signature manicures, pedicures, luxe manicures and pedicures, diamond shine manicures and pedicures (in case you are wondering there are no diamonds involved but you do end with a diamond shine finish :-). Waxing services are also available from eyebrows to legs.

Different Treatments at the Whitley Spa
As we toured the spa we were treated to various treatments. I was very impressed with the services offered at The Whitley Spa. This luxury spa goes way beyond your typical massages and facials. We were introduced to the HydraFacial spa treatment. Have you ever had a HydraFacial treatment? One of the benefits is reducing fine lines and wrinkles. Other services offered include medical grade face and body peels developed by Dr.Dennis Gross. I realized I didn’t know much about body peels but the staff was very eager to teach. I also enjoyed learning about the “Eminence” line of products used at The Whitley Spa. It is a handmade organic skin care line from Hungary. The Eminence Kids Foundation donates organic fruits, vegetables and foods to sick children worldwide. As a pediatrician I was moved by this. What a great foundation to support.

The Whitley Spa incorporates Southern touches into their signature treatments. Indulge in the “Southern Hospitality Signature Collection” which consists of a body scrub, hot stone massage, facial, manicure and pedicure which lasts over 5 hours! The “Hotlanta” is a hot stone massage that relieves muscle tension. I find facials to be as relaxing as massages and there is no shortage of facial services available at The Whitley Spa. Choose from “The Simply Organic Facial” or “The Southern Belle Facial” or maybe try “The Southern Comfort Facial” or the HydraFacial mentioned above. Pregnant women can enjoy “The Baby Bump” which is a gentle prenatal massage that improves circulation. The Whitley “Signature Body” is a sweet tea body exfoliation. Men will not feel left out with “The Southern Gentleman Massage”, “The Perfect Gentleman Facial” or the “Gentleman’s Hand and Foot Detail”. As mentioned above, there are spa suites available for couples with services such as “The Couples Collection”. This particular service includes a couple’s massage and pedicures.
I can honestly say that what impressed me the most about The Whitley Spa was the staff. First of all, they are experienced. Everyone that I met had years of spa experience. And, they were eager to teach and discuss the new spa menu services available.
I can’t wait to return to The Whitley Spa to try out some more of the spa services. If you are in Atlanta and you are looking for a luxury spa-this is it. For more information and pricing please visit The Whitley Spa website.
Omg… sign me up for the Southern Hospitality Signature Collection!! lol 5 hours of pampering sounds like a dream. So does the sweet tea hand scrub 😀
Yes! I would love to do that one as well. A full day of pampering and relaxation!
Spa massage is really good. There are also osteopathic massages or chiropractors that do wonders too.
Yes very true.
Wouw! This place looks just amazing. I have been looking to take my wife to a spa place like this and it is helpful to read about your experience here. thanks!
Your welcome! I hope she enjoys it.
Hay! Nadeen
I just go through your post. I think you enjoyed your massage mostly. The spa center environment and furniture also talk about relax and comfortable. I think I have to take one from this place.
