I love wine. All types of wine. I also love discovering new types of wine whether it be a new varietal or wine from a different region. I was recently introduced to a new brand of Italian wines. VOGA Italia! Of course Italy is known for making some of the best wine in the world and this tradition continues with VOGA Italia wines. They have a wide variety of wines from red to white and from sparkling to sweet. One of the first things I noticed about VOGA Italia wines was their unique and sleek packaging! I love the design of the glass bottles and the convenience of a re-sealable cap! This is an award winning wine label that I am pleased to now introduce to you.
VOGA Italia Wines-The Collection:
VOGA Italia Red Fusion: A combination of Zinfandel and Cabernet from Southern Italy. It is aged in wood with flavors such as blackberries, cherries and plums. The toasty oak also adds a caramelized sweetness.
VOGA Italia Prosecco: Described as a “chic Italian Sparkler in a stylish adorned bottle.” Expect flavors of ripe apricot and peaches. It is 100% Glera. (Glera is a white variety of grape which originates in Italy and was formerly just known as Prosecco)
VOGA Italia Pinot Grigio: Did you know that Pinot Grigio is the most popular white wine produced in Northern Italy? Expect a rich wine bursting with flavors of and aromas of ripe apple and pear. This wine is 100% Pinot Grigio.
VOGA Italia Premium Sparkling: This wine is 80 % Chardonnay and 20% Pinot Grigio. Expect citrus and apple flavors with a hint of earthiness. What is so adorable is that they offer a “Baby VOGA” of this variety. It is a miniature single serving version of the premium sparkling wine.
VOGA Italia Moscato: Expect the taste of fresh grapes and fruity aromas. This varietal is 100 % Moscato.
