I am finally planning my next cruise so today for throwback Thursday I had thoughts of my last cruise in 2010. I can’t believe its been that long since I took a cruise because I love cruising!! Being on a cruise ship is like being on a luxury all inclusive resort at sea. You get the best of both worlds. All you can eat and drink for one price ( except alcohol) while sailing on crystal blue and turquoise waters around the world. However, the best part of cruising is that every morning you get to wake up to a new and beautiful location! My last cruise was on Royal Caribbean’s Oasis of the Seas. At the time I cruised this magnificent ship in 2010 it was the largest in the world! I won’t bore you with all the statistics of numbers of rooms or restaurants or pools but just know that it is massive and there is something for everyone! One of things I loved most about Oasis of the Seas were the neighborhoods!! My two favorites were Central Park which was a quaint and relaxing duplicate of Central park in NYC and The Boardwalk with a working carousel and Johnny Rocket’s restaurant as well as an outdoor Aqua Theater. The activities were endless including Zumba classes, the Flowriders simulating surfing and Zip lining! I actually zip lined for the first time and it was on a cruise ship! Of course the food was incredible at the varied restaurants on board including an authentic feeling Italian eatery in Central Park and the fresh healthy buffet in the Adult only Solarium area. Ok, so its time to let the pictures do the talking! These are all the reasons I loved cruising on Royal Caribbean’s Oasis of the Seas!
If this doesn’t get you to book a cruise on Royal Caribbean’s Oasis of the Seas I am not sure what will!! Have you been on Oasis of the Seas or cruised before? if so share your thoughts with us!
